About

Granite State Progress is a progressive advocacy organization that addresses issues of immediate state and local concern. Granite State Progress works as a communications hub for the progressive community to provide a strong, credible voice in advancing progressive solutions to critical community problems.

In addition to working in coalition on issue campaigns, some of our signature projects include:

  • An around-the-clock State House Video Monitoring Project, which sends staff and volunteers to film events and expose the extreme statements, policies and personalities that jeopardize the future of our country;
  • Ongoing weekly Brown Bag meetings, which serve as a space for progress-minded organizations and advocates to network and strategize about upcoming events and conservative shenanigans; and
  • Original research, which provides allies from every issue area with new and original reporting. Examples include the State House and State Senate Report Cards which provide the media, public, and elected officials with detailed information on every New Hampshire state legislator; the Free State Project Watch which provides public education on the ultra-extreme group which seeks to move 20,000 people to New Hampshire with the stated purpose to take over state government and dismantle it; as well as ongoing ALEC Exposed reports to expose the corporate special interests that are writing our laws and the legislators who allow them to do so.

Granite State Progress is proud to be supported by members and like-minded organizations. To support our work, please consider volunteering your time or making a financial donation.
