Information on TV Ad:
New Hampshire Freedom To Marry released a television ad to support marriage equality in the Granite State. The state’s House and Senate recently approved legislation granting the freedom to marry to gay and lesbian couples, and the legislation will be going to Governor Lynch. New Hampshire Freedom To Marry is using the television ad to urge supporters to call the Governor.

“New Hampshire has always been a place where fairness and individual freedoms are valued,” said Mo Baxley, Executive Director of New Hampshire Freedom to Marry. “The Governor is an honorable man. The majority of New Hampshire people support equality and have since polling began in 2003. They have spoken through their elected officials, and we urge him to do the right thing and uphold fairness and freedom. New Hampshire is ready.”

The television ad, the organization’s first, features real New Hampshire families and speaks to the state’s traditional values of freedom and fairness. It is part of an ongoing campaign to urge Governor Lynch to sign HB 436.

The 30-second ad can be found online at http://www.nhftm.org. For a high resolution copy of the ad for broadcast, please contact New Hampshire Freedom to Marry at info@nhftm.org, (603) 223-0309.

We are your neighbors, farmers, teachers, and clerks at the general store. We are your daughters and sons, your parents and grandparents. We seek nothing more nor less than fairness for all of New Hampshire’s families. We thank our legislature for working to protect jobs, strengthen our economy, and protect our civil rights. Now Governor Lynch has an opportunity to protect all New Hampshire families and treat every committed couple equally. Call our Governor and tell him to support civil marriage for all Granite Staters. Live and let live New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Freedom to Marry is New Hampshire’s statewide lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) education and advocacy organization.
