Obama’s budget means a cleaner, greener future for New Hampshire

What: A coalition of clean energy businesses, environmental organizations, and civic groups will be releasing a new report by Environment New Hampshire estimating the proportion of President Obama’s proposed Fiscal Year 2010 federal budget that would be used to transition to clean energy, require global warming polluters to pay, clean up toxic waste, prevent water pollution, and spur clean energy businesses in New Hampshire.

The report, Vision 2010: President Obama’s Budget, Clean Energy and the Environment, includes a map highlighting New Hampshire locations of clean energy industries that would benefit from President Obama’s budget and problem sewage treatment plants and Superfund toxic waste sites that could receive funding for cleanup or improvements.
