GSP Social Media Sit-In: State House Accountability, Saturday, April 8th

Granite State Progress invites all bloggers, graphic artists, writers, and progressive people with strong opinions and some level of creativity to a social media sit-in to create issue and district-specific accountability materials for the Governor, Executive Council, State Senate, and State House.

Following a training on our major accountability votes and themes from the first half of the legislative session, blogger Matt Murray of NH Labor News will teach people how to create effective social media content while other trainers will focus on how to write letters to the editor. Activists will then work in issue-specific groups for a meme-creating and letter-writing blitz. Graphics and content generated will be fact checked and peer reviewed, and put to use in accountability work over the coming months. Granite State Progress will even sponsor paid promotions behind the top social media images voted on by the group!

Politicians in Concord are making big decisions about the future of our state; join this fun opportunity to help create public education materials, hold politicians accountable, and further encourage citizen action. Bring your own computer or reserve one when you register, wifi available.
